“ I found this great spot to have breakfast after our hike online. We were party of 10, called ahead, the hostess was friendly and accommodating. The vibe was amazing, the decor was interesting and fun to talk about. Our waitress was lovely, attentive, and did a great job with our group. Our meals, drinks, and mimosas were delicious! Not too pricey. I will be back and recommend coming here for breakfast/brunch. ”
“ The service here was top-tier. Everyone is super friendly and it looks like a fun work environment because everyone actually looked happy we reserved a table outside for our 1 pup that was with us and when we arrived they had a water bowl and a dog menu for him- such a cute touch! The food was amazing- a pastrami sandwich for me, the carnitas egg Benedict for my boyfriend and the beef and egg bowl for the pups, with a side of peanut butter of course! The food arrived FAST. Under 10 minutes to receive it- it was hot, great portions, fresh and amazing flavor! The michelada mix was good too- something I have found is hard to come by when eating out. The boyfriend had the Irish coffee which he also enjoyed. Overall great experience. It was a bit pricey at 90 for our meals, the 2 drinks and tip included but you definitely get what you pay for! 10/10 would recommend. Thank you VR! ”
“ Everything we’ve ordered has been delicious. We keep going back to try more. I only have pics for one day, but we’ve been there at many times. ”
“ Cool spot for breakfast. Great ambiance, and food. Recommend getting on the online waitlist to avoid wait times. Service is slowish but food and drink come out pretty fast once the order is placed. Definitely will be coming back. ”
“ This place surprised me. From the wild decorations inside, to the friendly staff and amazing food that will have me as a regular customer. This place is a hidden gem in Chino hills. The menu is simple yet full of variety that will have you second guess what you really want to order. It took my wife and I a bit of changing our minds before we pulled the trigger on ordering. We have multiple trips planned to go back and tackle the full menu. If you're a breakfast person, go here. If you're a lunch person, go here. They serve their whole menu, so we tried a little bit of everything. I can say this confidently: Violet Rooster has the best gravy for biscuits and gravy I have ever had. The biscuit was huge, so feel free to share. I tried their Bacon Avocado mushroom burger (BAM) and it was so fresh and juicy. I ordered garlic fries as my side and are way too addicting. I had to walk away from the table because I couldn't put them down. The wife ordered the pastrami sandwich, which killed! (Don't change a thing guys) Only thing that was bad... The food was so darn good I forgot to take a before photo, only the after. Can't wait till our next trip, I'm already planning what to order. ”
“ I’m visiting from Texas, so I know good flavor—and Violet Rooster absolutely delivered! We ordered the chorizo Benedict, banana nut pancakes, loaded potatoes, and a few other sides because everything on the menu looked too good to pass up. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint! The chorizo Benedict was perfectly spiced, with bold flavors that balanced beautifully with the creamy hollandaise. The banana nut pancakes were fluffy, rich, and just the right amount of sweet—a total standout. And those loaded potatoes? Comfort food heaven. Every bite was satisfying and packed with flavor. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was just as impressive as the food—friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they’re serving. If you’re in the area and love bold, delicious food, do yourself a favor and stop by Violet Rooster. This place is a gem! ”
“ A great find in Chino Hills. Very eclectic ambiance; friendly waitstaff and a varied menu. Lots of tongue-in-cheek names for their dishes. Restaurant open from 7 am to 2 pm, only. Plenty of parking. Beware Google maps takes you to the wrong place. The restaurant is not where the Wells Fargo bank is; it is located across the street, next to the Starbucks. Prices compare to prices at Denny's, IHop, etc. ”
“ My wife and I typically go just the 2 of us, but today was our first time bringing the kids and they had a blast. Food was excellent and staff was great as always. We look forward to continuing eating here for years to come. ”
